inJust realized why I love "The Room" so much...
The trick is to treat it like performance art instead of a movie. You have to watch it with people who don't know what they're getting into. I've ruined three separate movie nights by showing this to friends who thought I was joking about how bad it was. Keep a drink handy for every scene change and you'll make it through. The secret is just letting it wash over you without trying to make sense of any of it.

inOur brand new banner stand fell apart at the Mesa trade show last Friday
Zip ties fix everything until they don't. Same thing happens with furniture from those flat pack places. Looks good in the store, falls apart when you actually use it. That sleek magnetic competitor setup probably cost a fortune or has some hidden flaw. Everything breaks eventually.

inWent to a historic hotel in St. Augustine and found a chimney full of old toys
Honestly, sounds like that chimney was more of a toy chest than a fire hazard. Ngl, I'm a little jealous you didn't find a cursed board game in there.

inUpdate: I used a 60-day closing timeline versus a 30-day one on a duplex in Phoenix.
I mean I get the appeal of a super fast close but honestly rushing things usually bites you in the ass somewhere down the line. That 60 day timeline gave everyone room to breathe and catch any weird title issues before they became drama. Faster isn't always better in my book.

inWent to a local library coding workshop and saw a huge mistake with the setup
You'd think libraries of all places would know better than to throw people into the deep end like that. I've helped run a few of these workshops and we always use something like Replit or a simple online notebook for the first session. That way people can actually focus on learning what a variable is instead of fighting with PATH variables and environment errors. You can always show them how to set up a real IDE in week two or three once they've got some confidence built up. The goal should be getting them excited about coding, not filtering out the ones who aren't already tech savvy.
