Unpopular opinion: skipping episodes actually ruins the pacing of most shows
I was rewatching Breaking Bad last month, and my roommate kept telling me to skip the fly-fishing episode because it was slow. I refused, and honestly I think that episode sets up Walt's guilt perfectly. But then I see people online saying you can skip entire seasons of shows like The Walking Dead and still get the gist. So I'm torn between two sides here. On one hand, binging is about efficiency and getting to the good stuff fast. On the other hand, missing those quiet moments can make big payoffs feel rushed. What do you all do when a show drags? Do you power through every dull scene or just jump ahead to the juicy parts?
