Tried the 'free coffee grounds for garden fertilizer' tip from a budget blog. My entire backyard now smells like a Starbucks dumpster.

The budget blog didn't mention you need about a five gallon bucket of used grounds, not a whole trash bag. That concentrated smell is basically wet coffee rotting in the sun. You have to mix a thin layer deep into the soil, not just dump it on the lawn like mulch.

Pro tip: I chose a $3 bag of dried beans over a $12 pack of chicken thighs for my chili last night and the texture was a total letdown.

Honestly I used to follow the box times exactly. Then I tried cooking my pasta like a minute less than it said, and it was a total game changer. It had this better texture, like it wasn't just mushy at all. I do the same thing with those frozen veggie bags now, just a quick zap. Makes a huge difference.

Unpopular opinion: I paid for a guided food tour in Lisbon and it was worth every penny

I was the same way, always thought those tours were a total rip-off for people who couldn't read a map. Then my wife talked me into a street food tour in Bangkok for about 50 bucks. We hit six stalls in an hour, tried things I would have walked right past, and I was so full I skipped dinner. It completely flipped my view on how to find good food fast in a new city. What was the best thing you tried on your Lisbon tour?

Update: I thought using a heat gun on a stripped bolt was a bad idea until I saw a guy in Anchorage do it with a coffee can.

Honestly that just sounds like a good way to start a fire. I'd rather just heat the whole area and be done with it.

DAE get annoyed when a game store has no play space?

Honestly that setup sounds pretty normal for a lot of stores. Retail space is crazy expensive, and tables take up a ton of room that could hold more product. Maybe just check their website or call ahead next time to see what the deal is.
