I always thought posting every step of a piece would build hype and show process. But last month, I dropped a full WIP sequence for a character portrait and someone commented 'feels like I've already seen the finished piece before it's done.' That got me thinking. Is there a downside to showing too much progress? One side says it keeps your audience engaged and shows your workflow. The other says it kills the impact of the final reveal. Which camp are you in? Do you hold back on WIPs or share everything?
