Why does fixing a broken layer take 3 hours when it's a 10 minute job?
I spent last night trying to repair a layer I accidentally hid in Procreate, and the fix ended up being just unchecking a box. But before that I tried merging, exporting, even redrawing part of the piece. That took me close to 3 hours total, and I'm still annoyed at myself. The weird part is the same thing happened last month with a clipping mask in Photoshop, 2 hours lost to something dumb. So which is worse, the actual bug or the way we overcomplicate the answer? Anyone else got a 'simple fix' that ate your whole evening?
