inNeighbor's basement leak ruined his classic SLR, need rust cleanup tips
Did the lens get wet too or just the body? I used white vinegar on a cotton swab for the rust spots on my old Minolta... had to let it sit for a few minutes and then gently work at it. The tricky part was getting into the tiny gears around the mirror advance without messing up anything else. Took a lot of patience and good light to see what I was doing.

inAfter moving cities three times, I hate how co-working spaces force yearly deals
Found short stays in other cities work well for me, @oscar_wood. They push you to see the best parts and skip the rest. Ever had a quick trip that turned out great?

inTIL my buddy's kid thought we were building a castle wall, not a fence
Totally! I read something about that once. How kids' brains are still building connections, so they just see possibilities everywhere. Like the fence isn't just a fence yet. It's kinda beautiful when you think about it. We lose that so hard as adults.

inVent: Review threats over minor issues are stressing out my cafe team
My friend watched a guy at a diner freak out over a tiny ketchup splash on his shirt. He demanded to speak to the manager and said he'd write a brutal online review if he didn't get his whole meal for free. The poor server was almost in tears trying to clean it up and apologize. That kind of threat totally ruins the shift for everyone working over a simple accident. Some customers just love having that leverage, it's pretty messed up lmao.

inUnpopular opinion: My coworkers think hand-whittling is just for kids
I mean, I feel this so hard. My old office gave me crap for bringing a sketchbook to lunch, like it was weird to actually do something with my hands. It's not about buying stuff, it's about making something yourself, which feels way better.
