inThe $4 can of spray cheese beat my fancy charcuterie board at our last game night
Two years ago my sister spent $60 on a "grazing table" for our family reunion and the plastic cheese balls with the squeeze tubes won by a mile, kids and adults both. You cannot tell me people actually prefer stinky aged stuff when they're trying to relax and play games, the whole point of snacks is being easy and silly, not making everyone feel like they need a wine tasting class to enjoy a cracker.

inTracking my own sleep for 2 months showed I was asleep way less than I thought
Those fitness bands are notoriously bad at measuring sleep stages, they mostly just guess based on movement. Sounds like your body actually does fine, but the gadget is telling you a scary story to sell you on upgrading.

inThat $40 white noise machine actually saved my lease
Gotta say @olivia_bailey, murdering someone over a trumpet seems like a stretch, but congrats on the standoff anyway.

inWhy does nobody talk about current drift on inshore jobs?
Dig right in and celebrate that win with you. Getting a contractor to bend even five minutes is like pulling teeth, so getting them to accept a whole tide shift is a big deal. I bet that logbook was the only thing that finally shut them up, too, because nobody argues with shiny numbers like that. That extra sixteen minutes of bottom time is the kind of proof that makes you want to frame it. Good on you for not just grinding through the fight like the first two years.

inThe $40 scalp steamer I laughed at is now my favorite tool
And honestly the heat distribution is the real game changer here. With the plastic cap method I always had hot spots where the steam pooled, but the steamer is way more even so the color takes more consistently from root to ends. I've also noticed it cuts my processing time by maybe five or six minutes, which adds up when you're doing three or four retouches in a row. One thing I'll say though, you gotta watch the temperature on finer hair, I had a client with baby fine strands and it processed a touch faster than I expected. Your mileage may vary on that front, but for thicker or coarse hair it's been a total win for me. I'm glad I'm not the only one who was skeptical and then got converted.
