Warning: The 1998 DVD of The Brave Little Toaster has a scene cut that the VHS didn't

I popped in my old VHS copy from 1993 last month and then watched the 1998 DVD release side by side. In the DVD, the junkyard magnet scene is about 40 seconds shorter and the scary song verse where the cars sing about being crushed is just gone. A guy on a forum in Ohio said Disney trimmed it after some parent groups complained in 1997, and the VHS was never recalled. If you have kids or just want the full version, check the tape, not the disc. Has anyone else compared the two and noticed other cuts I missed?
