I bought a fancy thermal cam 8 months ago to chase hot spots on server boards thinking it would change my game, and I have pulled it out maybe 4 times since. The cheap pen thermometer I got at the supply shop down on Vance St does 90% of what I need for checking heat sinks and power supplies. Anyone actually find a repair where the camera paid for itself?
