Pro tip: Keeping cool with shouty customers really helps

Wait what, you actually told him you'd eat his wrong burrito? That's either genius or completely unhinged (mostly genius though). @charlied34, that's a next level move, admitting your own sad lunch to calm him down. It totally makes sense that just agreeing the situation sucks works, because you're not fighting them. You're right, a lot of that loud anger is just them feeling stupid and you refusing to make them feel worse about it.

From my bench, letting sealant cure all the way overnight beats any fast-dry claim, no question.

Respectfully, I've had good results with fast-dry sealants when time is tight. In my bench tests, some brands set up strong enough for light use in just a few hours. Your mileage may vary, but overnight isn't always needed for every job.

My old foam pad versus today's camping sleep setup

When you said insulated air pads mold to your shape, it reminded me of my own switch to a hammock setup. I used to toss and turn on the ground no matter what pad I had. Then I tried hanging between trees, and it was like sleeping on a cloud because it cradles your whole body. @river_foster47, your pillow tip would have saved me from neck cramps back when I was stuck on the ground. Now I use a small pillow with my hammock and it all just works. Getting off the floor made a bigger change for my sleep than any pad I ever bought.

My instructor's tree pose emphasis led to a discussion on embodying nature

Stop turning yoga into a platform for activism. The practice was designed for self realization, not saving the planet, so inserting environmental themes just muddies its spiritual waters. Let yoga remain a personal journey, free from external agendas.

My rebellion against precise measurements started with a collapsed souffle that tasted amazing

Isn't this the conflict between AUTHENTICITY and perfection everywhere?
