From my bench, letting sealant cure all the way overnight beats any fast-dry claim, no question.

Respectfully, I've had good results with fast-dry sealants when time is tight. In my bench tests, some brands set up strong enough for light use in just a few hours. Your mileage may vary, but overnight isn't always needed for every job.

I always thought sealants had to cure overnight to be effective. Your bench tests with fast-dry brands have made me rethink that. It's clear now that for light use, a few hours can do the job.
