Yikes, that's the real problem, the shared link itself. Even if the doc stays private, that email with the link is a huge target. If someone gets into just one person's email, they now have the master key to everything. It's like locking your valuables in a box but then taping the key to your front door. The email is the weak link they never fixed.

My old boss used to say a flickering light is a future callback... and I was the guy who caused a few of those callbacks by rushing. Once spent a whole day tracing a nuisance trip because I hurried through a bathroom GFCI install and nicked a wire. The deadline pressure is real, but that little sparking sound haunts you... turns out I'm better at being slow and right than fast and sorry.
