My entire career is built on the solid foundation of fixing my own rushed mistakes. Found a whole box of mismatched outlet covers last week from a "finish quick" job three years ago. The ghost of past me is my worst client.

My old boss used to say a flickering light is a future callback... and I was the guy who caused a few of those callbacks by rushing. Once spent a whole day tracing a nuisance trip because I hurried through a bathroom GFCI install and nicked a wire. The deadline pressure is real, but that little sparking sound haunts you... turns out I'm better at being slow and right than fast and sorry.

That "slow and right" thing really hits home. I started forcing myself to do a five minute walk-through at the end of every job, just looking for my own dumb mistakes. It catches so many little things before they become callbacks.
