Making replicas taught me to see details in real artifacts
I copied a Bronze Age brooch and noticed crafting marks I never saw before, have you learned from hands-on projects?

Glued my fingers together more times than I can count trying to make a spaceship model from scratch. Used PVC pipes for the body and craft foam sheets for the wings. The first few tries looked pretty rough, honestly. It was frustrating but I kept adjusting the patterns. Felt amazing when I finally got one to sit right on the shelf.

My buddy Greg once tried to cast a lightsaber hilt with resin. The mold failed spectacularly and left him with a weird blue blob.
