inYesterday's shoot made me rethink street photography and sustainability
At the recycling center off Main, I watched a guy meticulously clean plastic bottles before tossing them. His routine seemed pointless against the mountain of trash behind him. That image stuck with me. How do you avoid turning that kind of dedication into just another bleak backdrop? When shooting these gaps between effort and impact, do you prioritize the human element or the environmental message? I struggle with which lens to use, literally and figuratively.
