From boredom to a handmade spoon in one afternoon

You might get a great feeling from a carved spoon, but my last DIY project left me with a crooked bookshelf and hurt pride. Tbh, there's a thin line between making something solid and making kindling for your next fire. I tried fixing a leaky faucet once, and now my bathroom has a constant water show. The move away from buying new stuff is nice, but my money screams when I need tools for every easy fix. Ngl, that plain good feeling goes away quick when you're looking at a heap of broken pieces and directions that make no sense. Still, it's pretty funny how we all think we're experts after seeing a short video online.
