PSA: Old glaze methods from my mentor clash with today's quick mixes.
Traditional glazes have depth, but modern ones save time, what's your take?

Yeah the depth thing is so real lol. My mentor used this weird layered technique that would sometimes crack in the kiln out of nowhere, but man when it worked the colors were insane. These days I mostly use the reliable stuff because I hate wasting pieces, but nothing beats that surprise factor from the old ways. Kinda miss that gamble sometimes even though it drove me nuts.

Your mentor's way shows how we trade wild chances for safe picks as we age. The sure thing wins, but those crazy results made stuff exciting.

My old risky grip either won games or blew saves.
