Got told my headband glue was too thick and it's been bugging me for a week
I was showing a book I'd bound at the Portland book arts fair last month, and a more experienced binder told me my headbands looked 'puffy' because I was using too much PVA. She said to thin it with a bit of water and use a tiny brush. I tried it on my next project, a copy of 'The Hobbit', and the difference was huge, way cleaner. Do you guys think a thin glue is always better for headbands, or is there a case for using it thicker?
