inStarted with Python, tried to switch to C++ for a game project, and it was a total disaster for a newbie like me.
Honestly, that's a pretty normal first try.

inFinally bought a proper dust extractor for my miter saw
Honestly, is a $600 setup really worth it for a hobbyist?

inJust realized I stopped trying to fix my uncle's political rants at Thanksgiving after the 2020 election.
Wait, you actually used to argue with him point by point? Lol that sounds exhausting.

inFinally got my stubborn client's rosacea flare-up under control after switching to a 5-minute ice globes routine before her azelaic acid serum.
Yeah, the part about keeping it to five minutes max... it's like that with everything now. We're all looking for the simple fix but we overdo it. Like people will walk for health but then get hurt because they go ten miles on day one. Or they'll buy one fancy water bottle and then own twenty. The trick is almost always just the basic thing, done right, and then stopping.

inI thought learning to code would be way harder than it actually is, lol
Yeah, right? It's like you build up this huge scary thing in your head. What was the hardest part for you at the start, @hugo825? For me it was just getting over the fear of starting and seeing that first error message. The basics are actually pretty simple once you just start doing them. The real tricky stuff comes way later, but by then you're already hooked. It's the best kind of surprise when something turns out to be less scary than you thought.
