Heads up: picking Blue Lock over Attack on Titan killed my watch party

Did your friends even like sports anime before that? Blue Lock is great but it's not for everyone, especially if they're expecting a serious plot.

Just realized I processed $50,000 in mobile payments this year without noticing

Wow, that's a lot of money to just let slide by without noticing. Fifty grand is a serious chunk of change, even for a side gig. Might be worth keeping a closer eye on it so you know where the growth is coming from.

Ex-husband kept the house but I'm stuck on the mortgage for 2 more years

Makes you think about how many people fall into that trap, doesn't it? @hart.mark's got the right idea about lawyering up early. I've seen the same pattern with homeowners trying to fix a plumbing leak on their own, thinking they're saving a few bucks, only to end up with a flooded basement and a bill triple what it would've been if they'd just called someone in the first place. Pride and penny pinching cost people more than they ever save.

Overheard a woman at a bar say she always orders the most expensive thing on the menu on first dates

Started nodding along reading this, then it hit me that she's not really testing his wallet, she's testing if he'll fold to social pressure. The wine thing is a perfect example, she ordered it without asking because she knew most guys would be too embarrassed to speak up in front of the server. Had a friend who ordered a full bottle of champagne on a first date and the guy literally just said "I didn't agree to that, can we switch to something else?" right in front of her. She was pissed but the server actually respected him for it. So the real test might be whether you're willing to look like a jerk for five seconds to avoid being a doormat for the whole night.

Pro tip: switched from canned air to a datavac blower for dusting towers last year

Ha, tell me about it! I swear I've spent more on canned air over the years than I did on my first actual computer. The real kicker is when you forget the can is freezing cold and it feels like you just grabbed a metal pole in January.
