inJust realized my $4 rotisserie chicken habit is actually cheaper than my meal prep Sundays
The $61 vs $95 drop is real and hard to argue with, so the flavor thing is the only problem worth solving here. What are you doing with the chicken once you pull it, just cold out of the container onto a tortilla? That matters a lot, because a plain shredded chicken tastes way different than one you toss in something hot for two minutes. The other question is whether you are stuck on two chickens a week or would try one chicken plus one cheap protein, like a pound of ground turkey or a bag of frozen shrimp, just to break the streak. And when you say you miss different flavors every day, is it the seasoning you miss or the whole format, like a bowl versus a wrap versus a salad? That answer changes what I would tell you to do.

inRusty damper hinges versus new stainless ones in a 1910 row home
That 45 minutes with penetrating oil and a pry bar sounds about right, and its exactly why I stopped pretending I'm some kind of damper whisperer. Last winter I spent half an hour coaxing one loose and still ended up snapping the pin, so the homeowner paid for my time plus a new hinge anyway. Stainless going in with just an 8 minute swap is the kind of thing that makes you feel dumb for ever fighting the rusty ones. For $30 the guy basically bought himself a flue he wont have to think about for years.
