inA customer swore their package was stolen, but the security footage told a different story
Honestly the worst part is when they double down. Had a lady insist her rug never showed, we had the photo proof from the driver. She said we photoshopped it. Like lady, we're a small mail center, we don't have a photoshop department. It's crazy how people will look right at the truth and still try to argue. Makes you wonder how often they actually find the "stolen" item later and just never tell you.

inTIL a con in Phoenix taught me to never leave my bag on the floor again
Man, that's rough. I watched a guy at a con get his whole stack of Magic cards lifted from his backpack pocket while he was in line for food. You ever start using those little luggage locks on your zippers now?

inTIL my $20 thrift store cast iron skillet works better than my friend's $150 'pre-seasoned' one
Read somewhere that they used to pour the iron slower for those old pans, makes the grain tighter.

inTalked to a guy at the Chandler co-working space about cold outreach
Disagree completely, the whole "mutual connection" thing is overrated. I've gotten better results from a well-written cold email than trying to remember some awkward chat @davis.noah and I had about the cheese plate. Sometimes a clean start works better.

inI just wasted a whole weekend on a show that went nowhere
Ugh, tell me about it. I did the same thing with that show '1899' on Netflix. They built up this whole mystery on a weird ship, and then the big ending was... a computer simulation? It felt like the writers just gave up and hit a reset button. What a total waste of a weekend.
