Man, I feel this in my bones. Two years ago I flew out for Thanksgiving and my sister stuck me at the card table with my nephews because the dining room was "at capacity," which apparently means seating for everyone except the guy who paid for the flights. I spent the meal watching a 6 year old build a tower out of mashed potatoes while my brother in law talked about his golf swing through the doorway. My dad didn't even look up from his plate. Something about being related but not married with kids makes you furniture at these things. The lukewarm sides are the worst part, like they plated yours first and then forgot.
