inSpent 45 bucks on a fancy umbrella last month and still got soaked because I forgot it at the coffee shop.
Oh man, I feel this. I spent 40 bucks on this nice black umbrella last spring and left it on the bus like three days later. lol. I've started clipping my keys to my bag with a carabiner so I can't walk away without them, but my brain still finds a way to ditch stuff like sunglasses and water bottles. Maybe we're all just running on a shared glitch, like the universe decided adults don't get a memory upgrade after age 25. I swear I've walked back into that coffee shop so many times the barista probably thinks I'm stalking her. lmao.

@the_rowan I started looking for a new job after my boss did the same thing and it worked out way better.

inHit $2,250 in plumbing repairs I did myself this year and now I'm rethinking the landlord warranty company
Understand completely. I did the math on my own place last month and came out over $1,800 ahead after fixing a water heater element and replacing a garbage disposal myself. The warranty people took over a week just to call me back when I tried to use them for a small electrical issue. I honestly think these plans are a scam for people who are handy enough to watch a few YouTube videos and turn a wrench. You're better off putting that monthly fee into a savings account labeled "house stuff" and just handling it yourself.

inSat through a 3-hour partnership pitch in Austin and walked out halfway
Switching to a simple handshake deal with a quick email follow-up worked way better for my crew. We stopped trying to fit that corporate template nonsense and just focused on clear expectations up front. Those rigid contracts always made my partners feel like I didn't trust them, lol.
