inHonestly, I binged 'Severance' in one weekend but 'The OA' took me like a month. The difference was the pacing.
The OA's first season is only eight episodes, so the weirdness doesn't actually last that long.

inRealized I've been holding my clippers wrong for years after a client pointed it out.
Totally agree about the roll making a difference. I used to white-knuckle the clipper and my forearm would be on fire after two fades. Letting it rock slightly in my palm changed everything, like the motor does the work instead of my death grip. My lines got way smoother because my hand wasn't fighting the tool. It felt wrong for about a week, but now it's just how I hold it.

inMy old house near UNM had a stuck window that wouldn't budge for months.
Totally agree, those old tricks are the best. I had a wooden screen door that scraped the concrete step every time you opened it. I just took some sandpaper to the bottom corner for a minute and it stopped catching completely. It's so satisfying when a two-minute fix works after you've been annoyed by something for ages.

inJust read that Myron Mixon once cooked a 1,200 pound hog for a single event
A 1,200 pound hog is just insane.
