Our book club debates finally feel constructive, not combative
I remember when our chats about books would quickly turn into personal spats. We slowly worked on hearing each other out instead of just waiting to talk. Last meeting, we debated a polarizing author and kept it focused on the text itself. It's a small shift, but it makes club night something I look forward to again.
