Question about the new electric car service bay at the dealership on Route 9

My uncle's shop in Toledo still uses a two-post lift from the 80s. I used to think those new four-post ones were overkill until I saw how much easier they make working on modern cars with all the battery packs and sensors. Now I get why shops are switching over.

My date brought his mom to a dinner and I had to get creative

Reminds me how often we use small lies to smooth over social friction. I see it all the time when people fake phone calls to leave a boring chat or claim prior plans to avoid an event. It's become the default way to handle minor discomfort without direct confrontation.

I was sending my agency partner a 10-page report every Friday until their lead asked me to just call them instead.

Send a short bullet point email with the key points and offer to hop on a call if they want more detail.

Can we talk about the man who buys his stamps one at a time?

My grandpa did the same thing with bus tokens.

My uncle told me to always book a month in Medellin, not a week

Your uncle gave great advice. I did the same in Mexico City last year and it made all the difference. You find your favorite coffee shop, the best local market, and stop feeling like a tourist. @charles_green95 makes a fair point about the risk, but that's why you really have to check the reviews and photos. My first week was just getting settled, but by the third week I was friends with the lady who ran the taco stand down the street.
