inHonestly, the difference between my dating profile from last year and the one I made last week is like night and day, all because I finally stopped using group photos and wrote my bio in my own voice.
It filters for people who actually read profiles instead of just swiping on pictures. You attract folks who share your niche interest, or at least appreciate the honesty. That initial match has a real foundation instead of just being based on looks. It turns your profile from an ad into a conversation starter. The right person will find your specific weirdness charming, while everyone else saves you both time.

inA customer demanded I redo a full day's work for free after they changed their mind
Honestly, that "they never liked the first spot" line is such a classic move. I had a lady approve a tile pattern and then, after it was set, said the grout color gave her a headache and wanted it all ripped out for free. Tbh, some people just think changing their mind is our problem to fix for nothing.

inI was at a comic con in Chicago and asked a dumb question about a panel
Honestly it's just a question at a con, not a final exam. You probably learned more from getting it wrong anyway.
