Turns out my go-to 16 ounce framing hammer actually weighs 20.4 ounces with the handle wrap and grip tape I added. I have been swinging that thing for 8 years thinking it was standard weight. Found the stat on a random tool forum thread from 2014 where a guy broke down exact weights with different grips. It explained why my elbow started hurting after long days of nailing. Has anyone else accidentally customized their gear into a totally different spec than intended?

Rant: My 6.7 Powerstroke injector job turned into a 3 day nightmare

I had a #4 injector go bad on my 2015 F-250 last Tuesday, figured I'd swap it out in a few hours like the YouTube videos show. Got the valve cover off and found the hold down bolt was seized up worse than anything I've ever seen. Spent 4 hours with PB Blaster, heat, and an impact before I finally snapped the bolt head off. Had to drill it out and use an extractor, which took another whole day because I kept breaking cheap drill bits. Then the injector itself was stuck in the bore, had to make a slide hammer out of some all-thread and a fence post cap I had lying around. By the time I got it out and the new one in, I was covered in diesel fuel and my back was shot from leaning over the fender. Has anyone else dealt with these 6.7 hold down bolts seizing like that? I'm thinking about just replacing all of them next time with new ones.
