I always thought those cheap crimp tools from the hardware store were fine, but one snapped on a simple RG6 connector in a Phoenix attic last Tuesday.

Yeah, that heat will wreck cheap tools fast.

My buddy bought a bargain socket set last summer. He was working on his truck in the driveway on a 95 degree day. After a few hours, the chrome literally started peeling off a socket and the ratchet gear teeth just stripped out. It was like the metal turned into soft plastic. He learned the hard way that good tools can take the punishment.

@loganl22 saw the same thing happen with a cheap set in the sun, that chrome peeling is rough.
