inUnpopular opinion: I bought a cheap knockoff tube expander from a swap meet in Tulsa and it cost me two full days of rework.
My uncle found a snap-on torque wrench at a flea market in Daytona twenty years ago. It's still the most accurate one in his shop. You can find real tools in odd places if you know what to look for. A swap meet is just a bunch of guys selling stuff, some of it is junk and some is gold. The skill is knowing the difference, not where the table is set up. Dismissing a whole source just sounds like you don't trust your own eye.

That 36-inch breaker bar is basically a bike shop cheat code. Some jobs just need the right tool and a stubborn attitude. Bet that twenty felt better than most shop paychecks.

Ugh, that's the worst kind of surprise. It's like the paper was just waiting for you to trust it before it turned on you. I hope you find a good source that doesn't pull that trick.
