The week a flock of geese decided my shop was their new home
Last spring, a family of Canada geese decided the flat roof over our paint bay was the perfect spot to raise their goslings. For about three weeks, we had to work around them. The parents would get mad if we made any noise near the big bay door, and they left a real mess. We tried everything from a plastic owl to playing loud music, but they just got used to it. The real problem came when we had to move a finished '22 Silverado out, and the male goose charged at the tow truck driver. He just looked at me and said, 'I don't get paid enough for this.' Has anyone else ever had to deal with wildlife holding up a job?

Honestly, I'd just let them be. They're only there for a few weeks and it's their nesting season, you know? It's a minor hassle compared to messing with wildlife.

Actually, some birds nest for months, not just a few weeks.

Used to think it was just a few weeks too. Then a pair of robins set up on my porch light and stayed from April through July. Watched the whole cycle, eggs to fledglings. Really showed me how much time they actually need. Makes you way less likely to bother them.
