inHot take: My picky regular finally approved of his fade
Understand completely how that one nod makes all the work worth it.

inMy local bookstore's sci-fi section is shrinking every year
You know, I've noticed fantasy taking over more shelf space lately too. But my local spot still gets new sci-fi, it's just tucked between the fantasy and graphic novels now. Maybe it's less about disappearing and more about how genres shift around over the years.

inJust realized the push for all-electric homes ignores rural realities
Wondering if retrofitting ever happens in the real world though. Feels like once a system gets installed, people just run it into the ground. The whole bridge idea just seems like a way to avoid making a real choice now. Not convinced it's that big of a deal either way.

inFound a hidden gem market in Barcelona that cut my food costs in half
Isn't that method too easy to fool? Signs in one language just mean they don't expect foreign customers, not that prices are fair. I've seen locals get overcharged at places that look authentic because they're near where people with money live. Tourists renting apartments also buy full carts of groceries, so that doesn't prove much. I just compare the cost of everyday items like eggs or water to what I know from budget stores. If it's even a little higher, I walk out.

inSeeing how my team handles remote work for the Artemis project has made me think about collaboration.
Man, I see this totally opposite. The problem isn't video calls, it's how we use them. My team does async updates for routine stuff and only calls for real-time brainstorms, plus a shared doc to track sim issues. That cut delays big time since we're not waiting for meetings to fix things. It feels more like in-person solving, just spread out. Remote work can be smoother if you set it up right, lol.
