inI always used a regular sponge for dishes, then my sister gave me a silicone one
My sister did the same thing to me last year. I was skeptical, but that silicone thing is a game changer for scrubbing pots. I also switched from a plastic cutting board to a big wooden one, and it doesn't slide around at all anymore.

inJust dropped $60 on a proper cable comb and it's a total game changer for my rack work.
Yeah my friend bought a fancy wooden comb after her hair kept snapping. She said the cheap ones had rough seams that caught on her ends, but the smooth teeth on the expensive one just glide through. Made a huge difference for her thick, curly hair.

inSerious question, has anyone else had a client insist on a design that just won't hold up?
My last architect client in Seattle had a similar fight over a cantilevered deck. Sometimes you have to show them the math, not just the chalk lines, to make the risk real. A good visual can still follow the rules if you get creative with the engineering.
