Question about why drywall repair skills are vanishing

That green lid mud Matthew talked about, I had a similar thing happen last winter. My basement was so damp it took all day for a skim coat to set. What kind of climate are you working in, Anthony? Humidity seems to mess with these quick dry claims more than anything. Have you ever timed it from mix to sand with a dehumidifier running?

How I learned to love credit cards despite the debt warnings

When I set up autopay for my weekly grocery run, it totally changed my view on credit cards. I stick to using it for just food and gas, so the points feel like a little bonus each month. I make sure to review every charge though, because like john747 said, it's easy to miss a subscription. Seeing others manage it responsibly gives me hope that not all debt warnings are doom and gloom.

Just realized my foot placement during cleans was sabotaging my lift

Roofing days dictating your clean setup is genuinely surprising to me. I mean, sure, a wide stance makes sense when you're navigating rafters, but translating that to a explosive Olympic lift seems counterproductive. Maybe it's just me, but I've always viewed cleans as requiring that tight, spring-loaded posture from the ankles up. It's crazy how deeply work habits can seep into our training without us even noticing. I'm low-key shocked you powered through with that wide stance for so long before the technique click. That final clean hitting after the adjustment really shows how much form can bottleneck pure strength.

PSA: Viral upcycled denim patchwork technique is causing major structural failures

Ugh, @matthewt54, I feel that. Tried the glue-on patch trend and it was a disaster after one wash. Switched back to proper stitching and my clothes actually last, which kinda solves the waste issue too.
