That's some serious dedication, my journal would have given up on me after two weeks. Mine is basically a fancy coaster with some pens sitting on it. At least you turned yours into a historic document of your moods, mine just collects dust.

That "turned into goo" part is so real. I had a similar win with a set of bamboo travel cutlery. The spoon warped into a perfect shallow bowl the first time I left it in some hot soup. Tried to eat with a bent spoon that could only hold about three drops of liquid. Felt very smart holding a tiny, hot, useless piece of bamboo. These products really commit to the whole "returning to the earth" thing, just way ahead of schedule.
