Warning: This bullet journal entry took me half a year to finish

Honestly, I began a simple mood tracker in my journal last winter, just a few lines per day. Tbh, I kept skipping entries because life got busy, and the pages stayed empty for weeks. Ngl, it felt pointless after a while, and I almost gave up on the whole thing. But I decided to be patient and chip away at it bit by bit, adding color when I had a spare minute. After six long months, I finally sat down with my pens and filled in every single gap. It was a slow process, but seeing all those days logged made me weirdly proud. Now I have a full record of my ups and downs, and it actually means something to me. I guess waiting it out taught me that slow progress is still progress in bullet journaling.

That's some serious dedication, my journal would have given up on me after two weeks. Mine is basically a fancy coaster with some pens sitting on it. At least you turned yours into a historic document of your moods, mine just collects dust.

Half a year on one journal entry... I'd have given up after the first skipped week. But filling in all those gaps sounds kinda satisfying.

Filling gaps is weirdly fun! Going back to fill in months of blank pages takes a lot of effort. It's like solving a puzzle, thinking back on all those lost days. My own journal has those empty stretches, and catching up always feels like a win. Most people would toss it aside, but pushing through makes the record complete. A finished journal like that must be a great read now!
