inVent: dropped $400 on a moving pod for my cross country move and it showed up 11 days late
My last move I tried to save money by renting the smallest truck they had, then spent the whole drive with a lamp wedged against my back because there was nowhere else to put it. So yeah, cheap usually means you pay in other ways, like your spine or your sanity. Eleven days is brutal though, sitting on an air mattress in a place with no stuff is its own special kind of hell. The tracking page saying "in transit" the whole time is almost funny, like thanks, that really narrows it down. The real cost of a move is never the sticker price, it's all the stuff you didn't plan for. At least you got a story out of it, even if it came with a side of back pain.

inFinally meal prepped 5 lunches for $23 at the Aldi in Dayton, and the trick was ignoring the recipe apps
The apps want you broke, not fed.

inShowerthought: drove to Tucson for a 8am mixer and 9 people showed up, felt like a total bust
Wondering if the real issue is that Tuesday morning mixers just pull a different crowd than the weekday evening ones. Most people who'd actually drive out to Tucson for networking are probably already working at 8am on a Tuesday. Try a Thursday happy hour version of the same event and see if the same room fills up.
