inGrocery stores consistently out of fresh basil when I'm mid-meal prep
My kitchen window gets about four hours of sun daily, but basil supposedly needs six to eight. I tried growing it last season and the plants got all spindly and sad. Pesto is delicious, but is it worth the constant monitoring and potential mold issues? A bunch of fresh basil costs like two bucks at the store. Sometimes convenience beats the homemade hype, you know?
