Confession: I meal prep on Thursdays and my friends lost it

At a dinner party, I said I make my weekly meals on Thursdays. People acted like I insulted their grandma's cooking, which was kinda awkward. Why is Sunday the only day that counts for prep?

Saw a blog post arguing that prepping closer to the weekend means less soggy leftovers. @skyler696 nailed it, why follow some dumb rule if Thursday gets you better results.

Seriously, why is Sunday the holy grail of meal prep days? Thursday prep is GENIUS because you hit the grocery store when it's not packed. My neighbor preps on Fridays and her kids actually eat the veggies before they wilt. I tried Sunday once and spent my whole day cooking instead of relaxing. The goal is to have food ready, not worship a calendar. Let people prep when it works for their life!
