Took the $18/hr job with no benefits over the $23/hr one that made me miserable
Everyone said I was nuts for leaving the higher paying warehouse gig for a smaller shop, but I did the math and the cheap insurance at the new place plus zero unpaid overtime came out ahead. Six months in and I actually sleep at night instead of staring at the ceiling dreading my shift. Curious if anyone else picked peace over a bigger paycheck and how long it took before you stopped second guessing it.
