Saw a brilliant client consultation setup at a spa in Asheville

I was at The Grove Park Inn Spa last month and noticed their estheticians use a small, ring-shaped LED light on a flexible arm during skin analysis. It clips right to the magnifying lamp and gives perfect, shadow-free light on the client's face without being blinding. It made seeing fine texture and dehydration lines way clearer than my old overhead light. Has anyone tried a similar setup and have a brand they like for that clip light?

Man, that sounds like a dentist's light.

Read an article about how that bright, focused light is key for spotting tiny flaws. It said the color temperature matters way more than people think. Makes sense why pros use stuff that looks like it belongs in an operating room.

Oh totally, that setup is a game changer. I saw a similar one at a trade show and it completely changed how I see surface texture. I've been trying to find a good clip-on light ever since.
