Am I the only one who gets mad when techs forget to torque the sheave bolts properly?
A loose sheave bolt last week caused a noisy ride and a pissed off building manager who thought the whole thing was falling apart.

My buddy's elevator sounded like a washing machine full of rocks after a tech skipped the torque wrench.

Used to think torque wrenches were overkill for most jobs. Hearing that elevator story totally changed my mind though.
