Man, what kind of work do you do that needs a lamp that good? I used to just use a cheap desk lamp and the eye strain was awful... finally getting the right light makes such a huge difference, especially when you're stuck working all night. It's one of those things you don't realize is killing you until you fix it. Totally get why you'd spend the money.

Oh man, tell me about it. I used that same terrible lamp for years like some kind of eye strain martyr. Finally caved and got a decent one, and it was like, wow, I guess I don't have to feel like my eyeballs are drying out every night. It's wild how we just put up with bad stuff for so long.
