My art got featured on a big Instagram page and the response was crazy

Last Tuesday, the account Digital Dreamscapes shared my latest space painting. I woke up to over 300 new followers and 50+ comments before noon. Most were really nice, but a few people gave super detailed critiques on my planet textures. It was my first time getting that much feedback all at once. How do you guys handle a sudden rush of attention on your work?

Congrats on the feature, that's wild. Honestly, just enjoy the nice comments and ignore the planet texture experts... they probably can't even draw a decent stick figure. The attention fades fast anyway.

300 new followers in a morning is a cool rush, but it's just a number on a screen. I get what @kim191 is saying about ignoring critics, but honestly those detailed notes on your planet textures might be the only useful thing to come out of it. The followers will mostly forget you by next week. The real test is if you can use that one piece of real feedback to make your next painting better.
