PSA: My date at The Rusty Anchor last Friday went from fine to a total trainwreck in under an hour.

We were having a decent conversation over drinks, then he got a call from his ex, Jessica. He proceeded to argue with her on speakerphone for 15 minutes at our table about who kept the dog's favorite toy. The vibe was completely dead after that. Anyone else had a date derailed by an ex popping up?

It's funny how that happens, @gibson.elizabeth. You see one story and then suddenly you notice the same idea everywhere. It makes you wonder if we're all just tapping into the same thoughts or if the world is just running out of new ideas. I've been seeing it with movies and songs lately too. Maybe we're all just connected in ways we don't fully get yet.

Honestly feel that hard with all the superhero movies lately. Tbh it's like every studio gets the same note at the same time. Makes me wonder if there's just a limited number of basic plots and we're seeing them all get recycled.
