Just realized I've been on 50 first dates in the past three years. When did dating become a numbers game?

Remember my buddy who kept a spreadsheet of his dates, like it was a fantasy football league. Honestly, it felt less about meeting someone and more about hitting some made-up stat. Tbh, seeing that kinda killed the whole vibe for me. It made dating feel like a chore you're just trying to get through. Ngl, I'd rather have one good conversation than fifty awkward coffee meetings. The whole numbers thing just seems like a fast track to getting burnt out.

Spreadsheets can help some people stay organized though. It doesn't have to be about cold stats if you're still looking for a real connection. Just depends on the person using it.

Why not just stop swiping and ask out people you actually click with?
