Took a chance on a $75 color remover for a botched at-home job

A client came in with orange streaks from a box dye, and I was worried about damage if I just layered more color. I bought a specific remover called Color Oops, which cost about seventy five bucks for the big bottle. It lifted the artificial pigment without wrecking her hair, so I could then tone it to a nice ash brown. What other gentle removal methods have you guys tried for these kinds of fixes?

My stylist mixed Malibu C with water, @linda45, for a gentler soak.

That Color Oops stuff saved me last month with a similar orange mess. I was so scared to bleach it again.

Wait, you paid seventy five bucks for Color Oops? @piperwhite's Malibu C trick sounds way cheaper.
