Why does nobody talk about those cheap coax crimpers from the hardware store

I lost 4 hours and $35 on a no-name crimper from Ace last month because it mangled every connector until I finally borrowed my buddy's Klein tool and finished the job in 20 minutes, has anyone else had a cheap tool waste their whole day?

My buddy swore by those Klein crimpers too, I finally caved and got a pair last month after my Harbor Freight one stripped the third connector in a row. Honestly just one good tool saves so much headache.

Yeah exactly! It's wild how much difference a decent tool makes. Harbor Freight has its place for some stuff but crimpers are not it. I wasted so much time and wire before I learned that lesson. Once you switch you never look back.
