Was totally against habit trackers until I gave them a real shot for 2 months

I always thought habit trackers in a bullet journal looked like a waste of space. Like, I know if I brushed my teeth or not, I don't need a little box for it. But last January I was trying to drink more water and get 8 hours of sleep consistently after a rough December. My friend Sarah kept showing me her spread where she tracked 5 things daily and she had like a 90% streak going. So I drew a tiny 2 inch row for water, sleep, and stretching on my weekly spread. After 8 weeks I actually saw patterns I never noticed before, like I stretch way less on Tuesdays for some reason. The visual feedback just clicked for me in a way that nagging myself never did. Anyone else change their mind on a popular bujo method after trying it for a while?

Yeah "serious dedication to a notebook" is exactly how my family put it too. But honestly it was just 30 seconds a day, way less effort than feeling guilty about it.

Just a little routine goes a long way if you keep it simple.
