My sister said she saves $80 a month by washing her car at home

We were at her place in Austin and she showed me her bucket and soap. She said the trick is doing it right after it rains. How much do you think you save doing stuff like that?

Doing it after it rains is smart, I started washing my own car last year. The real savings for me came from canceling the automatic car wash membership, that was like fifty bucks a month gone. Now I just spend five bucks on soap every few months.
